I literally threw this shirt together in the time between waking up and leaving for work this morning, and I honestly love it! It’s perfect for those leftover random cuts of fabric, and stay tuned for a dress version that I’m already drafting in my mind.

Have you seen it? Our new friend Peter Excho of Pexcho's American Dime Museum acquired/fashioned the world’s first 2-headed T Rex. To celebrate, he threw an absolutely wild reveal party, which obviously called for a themed dress. This has been one of my favorite makes of all time, and the show was an unforgettable experience 🦖

It’s been a LONG time since I’ve made a quilt. I love the how the simplicity of this one really features the organic flow of all this hand-stitching and allows the freehanded texture to shine.

I found 7 yards of this dreamy fabric on Facebook marketplace and immediately envisioned using it to create this dress. Fully self-drafted and SO much fun to wear ♥️

Another recycled textile jacket, and this one is all mine! I saw this partridge in a pear tree blanket on Facebook Marketplace and just had to have it. I mean, who doesn’t want to wear a blanket to work in January? I decided to draft and add a collar within 30 minutes of walking out the door this morning, so it’s a little wonky, but we’ll pretend it’s just added character 😂
I have some great ideas for the scraps, so keep an eye out to see how I salvage the few intact bits of this unique piece 💚

It’s been a minute. I have been taking life sloooow and soaking in the simplicity before some major upcoming life transitions, and that feeling is so sweet. Finding time to create has been something that I’m feeling out organically, as I’ve been working full time in a library (literal dream job). This is a quote from the beginning of a book I’ve been reading to kiddos all week at work, and I just had to stitch it onto something for myself.
