Dear friends,
I turned the key in the lock at the store yesterday for the last time and thought I’d sign off with one more thank you – to all of you for years of friendship and support.

I maintained throughout our last months of closing, as we said goodbye to each other, that the success of Quilted Threads was indeed due to a unique collaboration between shop leadership and dedicated customers. And as the final days unfolded and we shared stories and many hugs, that sentiment proved to be true.

I hope, as we closed our doors, that we left you with memories of good times, and lots of inspiration (and materials!) for future projects in the making. Blessings to all of you.

What is left in the shop? Here's a selection - a small selection - of items in the shop as of Monday afternoon. It's impossible to know what will sell out first, but if you're feeling adventurous, there are still treasures to be found in every category of products that Quilted Threads has carried - from wool and cotton to bag hardware to BERNINA machines and luggage to Ready-to-Embroider bears.
We are open 10-3 on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday and the shop is air-conditioned. Stop in for a beary cool shopping adventure.

We still have a store filled with merchandise, even after a month of sales! With a week left for shopping, we've increased the discounts on most merchandise in stock. We'd much rather sell our inventory to you now at a very favorable price than hand it off to a liquidator when we close for good.

We have taupes, batiks, traditional and contemporary fabrics, books, patterns, BERNINA and bernette sewing machines and sergers and accessories, and a great many more notions, threads, and other products.

We're hoping you'll come in one more time and help us clear the shelves!

We are thrilled to announce the launch of Quilt Perfect, which is owned and operated by Donna and Bert Cox. Quilt Perfect is a BERNINA authorized dealer for sales and service. The shop will also carry Japanese taupe fabrics. Plans are in the works for quilt historian, collector, and appraiser Gerald Roy to offer his appraisal services at Quilt Perfect.
