Jan 6th 2021 was a day I’ll never forget.

It was my very last day working my soul crushing corporate retail job. I remember sitting in a meeting Christmas Eve, 2020 at 7 am just fuming because we weren’t even discussing business. After that meeting I put in my two weeks notice with zero hesitation and zero plans. GMBS was only 6 months old at this point and I only had 900 followers when I quit my job. And here’s the shocking thing: I was the sole provider for our family at the time.

It was probably the dumbest snap decision I’ve ever made. Most definitely the biggest risk I ever made. But I don’t regret a second of it. It was the best decision I’ve made for all of us.

I was no longer married to my job and my work no longer controlled my life. For the first time I was able to determine my priorities and work was at the bottom of the list. Not going to lie, that first year was tough. And I gave myself a migraine stressing over my first launch as a full time artist.

2021 we experienced so much profound loss and struggles, BUT I am forever grateful I was able to be present during those losses and I was able to drop everything when needed.

Thank you all for being here! We have come so so far and I cannot wait to see what 2026 has in store for us.
