🚧 A Little Road Closure… A Little Sale! 🚧

Due to the road closure on Wednesday, Aud’s Crafts & Gifts will be CLOSED for the day.

But since the road closure is an inconvenience for everyone, we figured it deserves an…

🎉 INCONVENIENCE SALE! 🎉

Starting Thursday through Saturday, we’ll have select items on sale throughout the store—because a road closure deserves at least one good thing to come out of it! 😆

😉 Pssst… if you happen to stop in TODAY, ask Jennifer nicely and she just might give you the inconvenience sale prices a little early! 🤫😂

We’re still deciding exactly what goodies will be included, so stay tuned for all the details! 👀

Friday morning priorities… sourdough first! 😂🥯❤️

I picked up my goodies from Rustic Cabin Sourdough Creations at The Big Red Barn this morning. This time I went with the plain sourdough bagels because a sweet friend and neighbor gave me some of her homemade blackberry/plum jam yesterday—and she even told me it pairs perfectly with sourdough. 😃 I think these two were meant to meet! 😂

I also grabbed some Apple Cinnamon Scones because, well… look at them. How was I supposed to leave those behind?! 🤣

Then I noticed Good Dogz is set up in front of Heber Market again today… so I think we all know where I’ll be getting lunch. 🌭😂

If you’re looking for a fun day out in Heber, we’ve got you covered! 😊

Every Friday, I actually open Aud’s Crafts & Gifts a little later… because I have to make sure I get my favorite sourdough first! 😂

This week I picked up an SD Bacon & Cheddar Scone and a small Maple Bacon sourdough loaf from Rustic Cabin Sourdough Creations. So worth it! 🥖❤️

Then I did something I don’t normally do—I closed the shop for a few minutes and walked across the street to grab a hot dog from Good Dogz, which is set up across from Heber Market. 🌭 (Yes… still just ketchup. Don’t judge! 🤣)

If I’m willing to open late for one place and briefly close for the other, I’d say that tells you just how delicious they both are! 😄

While you’re here, don’t forget to do a little shopping too!

If you’re looking for a fun way to spend the day, come on out to The Big Red Barn!

I’m here today with Aud’s Crafts & Gifts, so stop in and say hi while you’re shopping! ❤️

While you’re here, you can grab breakfast, enjoy lunch, and browse all the wonderful vendors.

I kept hearing everyone talk about Good Dogz, so I finally gave them a try… and they definitely lived up to the hype! 🌭😋

Now before anyone judges me… 😂 I know they have LOTS of amazing toppings to choose from, but I’m a pretty simple hot dog person. Ketchup is all I need! 🤣 (Don’t judge me! LOL)

And of course I had one of my favorites from Rustic Cabin Sourdough Creations-their blueberry muffin. 🫐💙 They’re always so good!

Okay… I think JJ's Jack Wagon'z has officially won me over! 😋

Today I tried The Meltdown with pork, and wow… it was incredible!

It’s made with toasted Hawaiian bread, melted Muenster and Gouda cheese, and your choice of meat. I went with the pork, and it was tender, smoky, and packed with flavor. Every bite was absolutely delicious!

The meal also comes with two sides, and I chose the creamy mac & cheese and coleslaw.

Now, I know coleslaw is one of those foods—you either love it or you don’t—but theirs is so good! It’s fresh, flavorful, and has been consistently delicious every time I’ve had it. The mac & cheese was rich, creamy, and the perfect comfort food to go with the sandwich.

If you’re heading to the Big Red Barn this weekend, come hungry! Shop all the amazing vendors inside (including us, Aud’s Crafts & Gufts 😊), browse the outside vendors, let the kids enjoy the Kids Zone, and grab lunch while you’re here.

There are several great places to eat, but I can definitely recommend giving JJ’s Food Truck a try. I have a feeling you’ll be glad you did! ❤️🛍️🍽️

🌲 Summer in the Pines is happening Saturday & Sunday from 10 AM–4 PM, and we’ll be there all weekend.

👀 Take a Look… You Never Know!

Introducing our new “Because You Never Know” Display! 😄

Need a kids fishing pole? 🎣
A screwdriver? 🪛
Jigsaw blades?
Sandpaper?
A 50’ coaxial cable with BNC connectors? 📺
A random gadget you didn’t even realize you were out of? 🤔

Because sometimes the thing you didn’t come in for is exactly what you needed!

We’ve had several people ask if we could carry more everyday hardware, tools, and handy items, so we listened! 😊 This is just the beginning, and if you all enjoy it, we’ll keep adding even more useful and unexpected finds.

You’ll also notice a basket inside the store with items we didn’t want sitting out in the weather—things like caulk, electrical tape, FibaTape, electrical supplies, and other weather-sensitive items. So be sure to check both the display outside and the basket inside!

We weren’t kidding when we said Aud’s Crafts & Gifts has a little bit of everything! 🤣

We’re proud to feature the beautiful photography of Darren Freestone, an Arizona local and the brother of Aud’s Crafts & Gifts owner, Audrey! ❤️

If Darren’s name sounds familiar, it’s because he’s also the talented photographer behind the Arizona Wildlife Calendars we carry every year.

From hummingbirds and eagles to elk, deer, mountain lions, sunsets, and even dramatic Arizona lightning… his photos capture the beauty of our amazing state in a way that makes you stop and look a little longer. 🏜️✨
