Hi Folks, I would like to share that I am running for Hanover Township Trustee and would appreciate the honor to serve our community in this position.
My family and I have resided in the township since 2013, where I own and operate McKenzie Ag Repair, LLC, an agricultural equipment repair business in Toboso. During this time I have been able to service and repair our township equipment, along with heavy equipment and lawn & farm equipment for businesses, farmers and neighbors across our community, and would use both my mechanical and business experience to make prudent and financial responsible decisions that best serve our township. I also have experience in the upkeep of cemeteries, having helped mow the Irville Cemetery in Licking Twp for several years, knowledge of running the financial end of a township, as my mother was the clerk for Hopewell-Muskingum Township for 30+ years, the knowledge of how to physically maintain roads including running snow plows and boom mowers, and being fiscally responsible through running my personal business that supports myself and my family.
While away from work, I enjoy spending time camping with my wife Robin, daughter Lena (12), and sons Evan (8) and Eli (3), helping coach little league baseball teams, attending our kids’ school and sports activities, hunting, cooking over our firepit and attend Blessed Sacrament Church in Newark.
I am interested in having open communication with Hanover Township residents, hearing comments and concerns and determining what solutions can best be made to address these concerns.
