It's Capricorn season, and now is the time to get things done. Capricorn is a cardinal earth sign, making it the sign you want to start new projects, or continue existing projects under. Capricorns are known for their practical and realistic look on life, so now is a great time to reassess boundaries, the importance of respect, and where our limits lie. Take inventory of your life. Happy Yule Everyone! Yule is celebration of the Winter Solstice, the shortest day and longest night of the year, and the return of longer days in the months to come. The earliest celebration of Yule dates back to the fifth century by the Germanic people. It was a mid-winter festival to give people joy and warmth during the coldest and darkest time of the year. Locals would gather to one place and share ale and food together, livestock would be sacrificed in hopes the gods, most notably Odin, would bless the coming year. In pagan tradition, it was also a time to celebrate the transition of the Oak King turning into the Holly King, which he would remain as until the summer solstice. Over time, as Christianity spread into the Northern European region, many Yule celebration mixed with Christmas ones as a way to ease the transition from a pagan polytheistic religion to a monotheistic one.
Yule is a great time celebrate the past years events, and celebrate the year to come. Take time to reflect, and set up good intentions for the year to come!

Just like the star at the center of our solar system, The Sun is a card that radiates warmth. It is considered one of the most positive cards in the whole Tarot deck, and when you pull it in a reading, you know things are looking up. Looking at the symbolism on the card, the focal points of the card is the large sun at the top of the card, and the child sitting on the white horse at the bottom of the card. The sun at the top of the card represents abundance as it is the source of all life on Earth. The happy child sitting on the horse represents innocence, and the happiness found in being your true self. His nakedness is also a sort of symbolism, showing he has absolutely nothing to hide. His white stead represents strength and nobility.
