Why does a kitten drinking water on its own make me so happy? Because yesterday I thought I was going to have to bury her. We found this little girl underweight and covered in fleas a few days ago and buddy she has struggled ever since. Yesterday she was non responsive, her pupils wouldn’t dilate, she couldn’t stand, she wouldn’t eat or drink…in short, the fleas were so bad they had drained her life force and she was cold and limp to the touch. A few doses of iron, a lot of flea baths, a lot of forced feedings, some heating blankets and lots of love later- here she is. Up and walking and drinking on her own. Yep- I cried.

Y’all give a nod to y’all’s God(s) for her to continue getting better please.

I wanted to come on here and clear the air. Yes, Mountain Wild Metaphysical Apothecary does now carry candles as of this afternoon. They are hand made by Maranda Thompson.
Let me be perfectly clear when I say these are NOT the same as the large 3 wick candles sold by Kathy Collins across the hall from us. She sells wonderful candles that smell amazing- as a matter of fact I buy and burn her candles in the shop and happily send everyone over there who wants to know where I got them from. I will absolutely continue to buy her 3 wick candles and burn them in my shop. And if you ask where I got them from, I will still send you across the hall to her shop. She has always been very kind to me since I opened my shop across from her. And I am grateful for her kindness. I never in anyway want to pose any kind of competition to her or her business.
Now let me explain the candles that we have in my shop- they are “intention” candles. Or as some would call them- spell candles. They’re meant to draw things like - love, money, success or protection into your life.
So you want great smelling candles- PLEASE go to Kathy’s shop.
If you need something to help draw some money into your life- please consider our candles. Need a little bit of help in your love life- please consider our candles.
Moving into a new place and want to clear out all the bad juju- please consider our candles. Maranda even has a candle to help with the sniffles- and yes, it smells like Vicks vaporub- but it works at clearing your head up.
There are skull candles designed to be carved and filled with herbs to drive your enemies crazy. (So all you women getting whooped on by somebody- come see me)
Buying a candle from us comes with instructions and ceremony. It’s serves a purpose. That purpose is not to make your house smell lovely. That’s the purpose of Mrs Kathy’s candles.
Candles have a long standing use in witchcraft and can be a powerful tool to add to your workings. If that’s not what your wanting from a candle- please- go across the hall to Mrs Kathy’s and check out her candles.

Let me make it perfectly clear- I respect all faiths and religions- but what I will not tolerate is for someone to come into my shop and start “preaching” to myself or my customers. You will be asked to leave, if you decide you don’t want to leave - you will be physically made to leave. Your God may not believe in throwing hands but mine does.
To the extremely disrespectful young man (prolly 15-16 years old) who I told to leave my shop- if you read this DO NOT COME BACK, you are not welcomed here.
