Took some time to troll yesterday with Bob and Adam. We marked some muskies and located bait. After 4 hours I decided to go back and cast those locations. Took Bob about 6 casts to stick a nice low 40’s musky. As always the 9’6” Thorne Bro Predator XH drove hooks and handle a jacked up fish perfectly. Normally I don’t hold another man’s musky but with water around 76-77 we cut hooks, one quick pic, no measurement, and away she went.

MUSKY Dates available ‼️‼️

Musky fishing in Hayward Wisconsin is always an adventure. From the wilderness of the 15,000 acre Chippewa Flowage to some 700 acre hidden gems the Hayward area offers very diverse musky opportunities.

This will be my 16th year guiding the Hayward area and I pride myself on giving anglers of all abilities the opportunity to have a successful day on the water. Casting, trolling, and live bait have all produced 50” muskies for my clients. The test for any great guide is to find ways for clients to be the ones to put fish in the boat regardless of age or ability. I feel I do that as good as anyone in our area.
