What a beautiful day yesterday for a Puzzle Competition with our amazing friends at The Lot - Hayward, WI! Thanks for letting the Lake Kids team be part of the fun.

Teams took up the challenge of a Hayward inspired puzzle. As we stepped back to let the pros work, we soaked up the sun and admired just how awesome this place is - lawn chairs and picnic tables, music, bean bags, the Snack Shack for beverages and small bites and awesome food trucks for a tasty meal. What more could you ask for?!

💙 We’re excited to share that new NeeDoh products have arrived, including Swirl Nice Berg, Nice Cube, and Teenie Singles Nice Ice Baby!

As proud providers of NeeDoh for several years, we love helping families discover why these squishy favorites are so beloved. Recently, we’ve had a lot of visitors to the store express concern about knock-off brands and how to spot real NeeDohs, so we put together this quick PSA to support our community. Please buy whatever squishy toys make sense for you, but we hope this helps answer the questions we’ve received.

Authentic NeeDoh features the Schylling logo, a smooth, slow‑squish texture, and even filling with no oily residue. Knock‑offs can feel sticky or overly firm, may have a chemical smell, or show misspelled names like “Needo” or “Nedo.”

Reading and literacy are super important to the Lake Kids family. We believe that few resources in any community top the local library, and we couldn’t be prouder to support the Sherman & Ruth Weiss Community Library. We hope you feel the same and encourage you to stop by this weekend’s event. But don’t stop there, do everything you can to make sure our library is here for decades to come. Thanks for supporting the Library in any way that you are able!

They’re here! A new shipment of Needohs just landed, friends. See pics for models in stock now (but likely not for long). Please only buy what you need so all kids and families can feel the joy!

While at the store, take a stroll around. Over 50% of what you see on shelves is new this year. Fresh clothing, way more books, and new toys and games for all ages.

We wouldn’t be doing our job as your local kids and family destination if we didn’t encourage all of you - the Lake Kids extended family - to go see our friends at The Lot this weekend.

Then on Saturday, we’re kicking off summer with our School’s Out for Summer Bash featuring a bouncy house, games, kids karaoke, Hagen's and Havanas - Superior Cubans food trucks, live music, and plenty of fun for the whole family!
