We picked at them Shallow today up Bugging. Everything caught in the top 30ft. A fun way to catch lakers.

Our son surprised me with a special father-son Lake Superior fishing trip this weekend. Scott Braden, a Wisconsin DNR employee, and the Reel Island Adventures owner and guide, took us to the Apostle Islands' outer boundaries for a fun fishing day. Scott was an outstanding guide and gave us much extra fisheries insight. Along with catching some nice lake trout, we had a blast! Thanks, Scott!

Not exactly fishing related but very much Apostle Islands focused. Our very own Bruce Goetz was hard at work all year when he was not fishing and published this great book. If you want a super in-depth look at each of the Apostle islands then this is definitely the book for you and the photos are amazing to. You can pick up a copy at several locations in downtown bayfield.
