Out of the Ordinary
The Barajas family has been part of the hardwood flooring industry since before 1984. As a family, we have seen countless flooring trends come and go — species, parquetry, widths, colors, borders, patterns, and everything in between.
Since my own involvement in the industry, I’ve watched trends evolve firsthand. But it always brings up an interesting question: who really sets the trends?
Architecture and design play a major role, of course. But how much of it also comes down to the options being presented?
Throughout Bridgebay’s nearly 10-year journey, we have focused not only on following trends, but also on creating, reviving, and reintroducing them.
We do this by giving our clients options — widths, textures, colors, patterns, designs, and species they may not have seen before, or perhaps have not seen in quite some time.
Because sometimes, what feels new is simply something extraordinary waiting to be seen again.
At Bridgebay, our goal is to give architects, designers, builders, developers, flooring professionals, and homeowners the freedom to create something out of the ordinary — and in doing so, help shape what comes next.
