Ummmmm... We do NOT recommend this, but 3 years ago a contractor used a LYNX Hooks strap to keep the busted bumper from falling off his dash-for-supplies truck. Three years of blistering summer sun, torrential spring rain, winter road salt, and building-site potholes. A bungee cord (and the bumper) would have been on the side of the road in a couple weeks! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ And by the way the bumper is still secured by its LYNX Hook interlocking adjustable strap.
