Built by hand in America, the Mason & Hamlin Model 50 upright carries forward a tradition of piano making that began in Boston, Massachusetts over 200 years ago.
This beautiful upright is truly one of a kind, featuring:
• Eastern White Spruce Soundboard – The soundboard wood favored by the finest American piano makers during the Golden Age of piano building. Today, the Model 50 is the last upright piano still built with this prized material.
• Full Perimeter Plate – A design innovation that originated in Boston in the 1830s, adding strength, richness, and greater tonal color to the piano. Now only used by Mason & Hamlin.
• Advanced Composite Action – Designed by Mason & Hamlin to deliver exceptional consistency, responsiveness, and resistance to changes in humidity.
The result is a compact piano with the iconic American sound: a golden tone that is warm, resonant, and sings with remarkable depth and character.
Proudly handcrafted in Haverhill, Massachusetts.
