Lengthy post alert!
After nearly 11 years I’m still having to repeat myself and I am beyond tired of it.
I’d like to think people aren’t completely illiterate or oblivious to the multiple pieces of signage I have put up at the shop, yet every day I’m having to repeat myself.
Lunch is 1:00 to 2:00 (10+ years that hasn’t changed) but I’m still not getting to lunch until after 1:00 sometimes not until 2:00 sometimes not at all. So if you show up and my “will return” sign says 2:15 or 2:30, just know that people pushed me past my lunch and unfortunately you’re the one getting inconvenienced by someone else’s selfishness and entitlement or their inability to pay attention or take the time to read signs.
My posted hours aren’t negotiable. When it says I close at 5:00 or I close at 1:00, that means I’M LEAVING shortly after.
If you walk in at noon or walk in at 4:00 and see 4 people ahead of you then chances are I’m not going to have time to get to you. I’m sorry, try a different day or try a different shop.
I AM NOT OBLIGATED TO STAY AFTER POSTED CLOSING TIME TO SERVE ANYONE!
I also reserve the right to refuse service.
If you’re looking for shop info, go to google or the page. If I have a shop full of people, I’m not stopping to answer the phone (I’m one person, the information is out there so PLEASE check the page before calling or messaging me.)
If you show up and see a “booked out” sign on my door, that’s because there’s an ample amount of people in the shop to take me to closing time or a tiny bit after.
Also, if you show up and the curtains are down and the closed sign is flipped, there is absolutely NO REASON to touch the door k**b.
I’m tired of being disrespected, I’m tired of being taken advantage of. If there’s a sign READ IT and RESPECT IT.
If it’s close to lunch time or closing time DO NOT drop your kid off and leave.
These are CONSTANT issues week in and week out. I love cutting hair but these things plus the attitudes and little fits that I have to deal with from grown men (waaah someone cut me in line! I was here first!)
I’m getting to the point that I don’t even like my job anymore.
As always, Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart to my good ones out there and I appreciate the love and support over the years. You guys are a huge part of why I try to keep the shop going.
