Ted, Jack and John fished with me for a second day and we got our limit of keeper drum and a few Bluefish. We had a Drum that was quite a bit oversized with a lot of spots, however, it slipped out of my hands, hit the washboard and went overboard before we could get pictures of it. There's that saying about the big one that gets away.
I can't identify the bite mark on this Stingray. If anybody has any definite idea of what kind of fish did it, please let me know.

I took Ted, John, Rich, and Jack Cobia fishing for the first half of our full day trip and caught only stingrays, shark, and Bluefish, with no luck on a Cobia. We did not have the regular bait I like to use for that type of fish, but I don't think there's very many Cobia around to be caught. The ocean was beautiful, so we finished the day off catching a few Spanish Mackeral and Bluefish (not pictured).

Repeat customers, Jim Hanzsche and his fishing buddy Tom, had another good day catching Bluefish on top water luers and also catching some Puppy Drum to finish the trip off. Some of the drum were too big to keep and had to be released.

John stern brought his crew along for another fishing trip, Michael, Nathan, and this time, Colton came along and boy was he blessed with our 1st Cobia of the season!. Colton fought the fish for almost an hour on a 10 pound test puppy drum rod. The fish ran around the boat a couple times, and over and under the anchor rope almost a dozen times. When it finally came on board, the hook had straightened out quite a bit and had wallowed a hole so big that the hook almost fell out as soon as the pressure came off it.

John Stern brought his son Michael and their friend Nathan along on a :Let's catch whatever we can" type fishing trip. So we tried Sheepshead fishing for a couple hours, with no luck other than a bunch of Black Sea Bass that were a little too small to keep. So we went trolling for my first time this year and caught a bunch of Spanish Mackeral and a couple Bluefish.

We had a really fun day when Jason took his fishing buddies Jackson and Zander fishing with me for the second time.
Last year, we were able to cast for Spanish Mackeral in the ocean, but this year we stayed back in the shallows and did real good on Bluefish and a few keeper Puppy Drum.
