Counting down the hours to TOMORROW! 🎃✨

The past 20+ days have been a whirlwind of late nights at the shop, early mornings, and endless hours spent cleaning, researching, and staging vintage treasures to get ready for this moment. It’s been hard work, but seeing this dream come together makes every late night worth it!

We are SO excited to invite you all to see our BRAND NEW EXPANSION opening Friday, October 23rd! 🛍️

Plus, don’t miss out on the Hartville Howl-O-Ween Shop Affair from 5–8 PM! It’s going to be a fantastic evening exploring all the incredible small businesses around the square. 🍂

CUSTOMER SHARE! 🥹❤️

Moments like this are truly why I love what I do!

Our sweet customer Pam recently adopted two vintage baby dolls from the shop, and look how she styled them! She dressed them up using special family outfits—including her mother’s tea-stained christening dress and a special outfit that was her dad’s too! Then she tucked them inside a handmade wooden cradle crafted by her grandfather for her mom back in 1934! 🪵👶✨

Honoring both of her parents and keeping family history alive in such a creative way... now her new dolls fit right in with their “siblings!”

Thank you so much, Pam, for sharing these wonderful pictures and letting us be a small part of preserving such precious family memories!

(And Pam assures us... no, she’s not creepy at all! ❤️)

The countdown is ON! 🚨 Our grand opening for our new room expansion is just around the corner on Friday, October 23rd, and our antique family is growing!
I managed to sneak a few candid photos of our incredible vendors hard at work getting their new spaces decorated, stocked, and styled to perfection. It takes so much dedication to build out an expansion like this, and I can’t express how proud and grateful I am for every single vendor in our shop family. We are truly so blessed! ❤️

THIS is why we do what we do! 🎣❤️

Yesterday, a gentleman came into the shop with a story that brought such a big smile to our faces. When he was 13 years old, he swept floors at Amanda’s Bait Shop in Portage Lakes. He earned $5 and asked his dad if he could put it down to make payments on a specific fishing pole he had his eye on. His dad told him he had to save up the whole $20 to buy it—and he did just that!

He’s been searching for years to find one just like the one he had as a kid. A couple of friends had been helping him hunt for it, and one of them recommended he check our shop!

When he told us his story at the counter, we had our fingers crossed tight. We have a wonderful vendor who brings in vintage fishing gear, so we walked over to check his booth—and lo and behold, there it was! An exact matching True Temper Uni-Spin Rod & Reel! I think we were both so surprised and excited to see it sitting right there!

We love a good vintage treasure hunt, but nothing beats seeing someone reconnected with a special piece of their childhood memories. Congratulations on your incredible find! 🎣✨
