A quick note about book donations!

We absolutely LOVE that our community thinks of Little Lantern when you have books that need a new home. Your donations help us keep our used shelves full, and we are incredibly grateful for them!

We do have one tiny favor to ask: Please don’t leave book donations outside the store after hours without checking with us first.

If you have books you’d like to donate, just send us a message or bring them by while we’re open. If our regular hours don’t work for you, message us and we can usually arrange a time!

This helps us make sure someone is here to receive them and keeps your books safe from weather, wandering off, or whatever other adventures unattended books might find themselves on.

Thank you so much for supporting our little bookstore and helping us give good books another chapter.

Each Kids’ Play Date includes an early-reader book along with themed goodies chosen to match the story. Our newest packages include combinations of:

We have so many books waiting to make their way onto the shelves—which means we need to clear a little room! It’s time for a Little Lantern online book sale! 🎉

Here’s how it works:

📖 Beginning TODAY (8/12/26) at 2:30 p.m., we’ll post available books individually in the comments below, along with their prices.

📖 If you want a book, reply “WANT” directly beneath its photo.

📖 The first timestamp gets the book! If you’re first, we’ll message you privately for the email address where we should send your Square invoice.

📖 Invoices must be paid within 24 hours. If an invoice remains unpaid, the book will be offered to the next person in line.

📖 All purchases are final and must be picked up at Little Lantern Book Co. during regular business hours.

We’ll have books for several ages, genres and reading mood and we’ll keep adding them throughout the sale!

Every $12 package includes a mystery tween book plus a collection of fun reading and creative goodies. Depending on the package, readers may discover:

Do we know whose story we’re getting? Not yet.

Do we already have theories, hopes, and an unreasonable amount of excitement? Absolutely. 😂

There is still so much we don’t know about the next installment in Sarah J. Maas’s A Court of Thorns and Roses series, but that only makes the anticipation more exciting. Who will take center stage? Which court are we heading to? And what chaos is waiting for us in Prythian?
