We’ve received a few questions about Taste of Downtown Hartselle, and we’d love to share a little more about what makes this event special!

🍽️ Taste of Downtown is not an outside vendor event. This event was created to celebrate and highlight the amazing businesses that already call Historic Downtown Hartselle home. As you stroll through downtown, you’ll enjoy tastings, giveaways, shopping opportunities, and unique experiences offered by our local restaurants, boutiques, and businesses.

Our goal is to showcase the people, places, history, and small-town charm that make Downtown Hartselle such a special destination.

🎉 Depot Days, held each September, is a different type of event. Depot Days welcomes outside vendors, food trucks, artisans, community organizations, and businesses from across the region to join us for one of North Alabama’s largest festivals. Vendors interested in participating can apply through the official vendor application process and select booth spaces once approved.

Both events play an important role in supporting our community:

Food vendor registration for the 46th Annual Depot Days will open on June 5th.

At this time, registration is open for all non-food vendors. Booth spaces are limited and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t wait to secure your spot!

We’re so excited for the very first Taste of Downtown Hartselle on June 20th in Historic Downtown Hartselle! 🍽️🛍️🎶

We wanted to help clarify the event timeline since we’ve had a few questions:

🕙 10 AM – 12 PM:
Ticketed Taste Tour throughout Downtown Hartselle

🛍️🎵 12 PM – 2 PM:
Shopping, community fun, and live music downtown — open for everyone to enjoy!

🎟️ Tickets are ONLY required for the tasting portion from 10–12.

🌿 Farmers Market Opening Day in Downtown Hartselle! 🛍️

What an incredible turnout to kick off the season! Thank you to our amazing vendors, volunteers, and everyone who came out to support local.

A special thank you to our elected officials—and especially Scott Stadthagen—for your dedication and hard work in bringing this Farmers Market to life for our community.
