Hello friends, please read! I'm building up the gaming, play, & art space in the back of the store, and I could use your help. This space is free for anyone to use as long as they're respectful of the store and others.
Here's what I'm hunting for:
Wall stuff & shelf stuff – donations of posters, tapestries, wall art, games, books, manga, magazines, and drawing supplies. Themes that fit the vibe: anime, gaming, fantasy, sci-fi, horror, pop-culture, saloon, alchemist shop, old world general store, and anything else that fits what I have here.
Furniture – two matching café tables + 4 chairs (chairs just need to match each other). Sturdy enough to survive daily public use.
Cleanup – commercial/restaurant style trash and recycle cans.
For my PC/server/networking friends – this one's a long shot, but I've got a full-size server rack sitting empty in my garage that I'd love to start filling. Looking for computer/server/networking gear that isn't crazy outdated (roughly 2015-or-newer?). Goal is to eventually host small game servers, the store NVR, and other homelab style projects.
I run the store as lean as I can, so there's little cash to work with, but I'm happy to take things on donation, or work out a deal on the bigger items: store credit, gift certificates, etc..
A note on donations: anything donated will not be resold for profit. If I can't use it at the shop, I may gift it to someone who can. If I ever do sell something, that money goes right back into the space. If you'd rather I just do whatever's useful with it, let me know.
