🌊 FLOODING EXPECTED ALONG THE WHITEWATER RIVER

The City of Harrison is alerting residents to significant flooding expected along the Whitewater River this afternoon and evening.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is advising that the Whitewater River could reach approximately 23 feet around 2 a.m. Thursday, compared to a normal flood stage of 17 feet. The river is rising rapidly, and water is expected to move toward the West Harrison area and impact portions of Northern Dearborn County.

Please stay alert and continue to monitor local weather reports and emergency updates as conditions develop.

⚠️ Avoid flooded roadways. Turn around, don’t drown.

Your safety is our priority. Please use caution and allow emergency crews to respond safely if needed.
