π FLOODING EXPECTED ALONG THE WHITEWATER RIVER
The City of Harrison is alerting residents to significant flooding expected along the Whitewater River this afternoon and evening.
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is advising that the Whitewater River could reach approximately 23 feet around 2 a.m. Thursday, compared to a normal flood stage of 17 feet. The river is rising rapidly, and water is expected to move toward the West Harrison area and impact portions of Northern Dearborn County.
