If I’m not baking for an event, I take time to slow down and bake something from my “baking ideas list”. Yes, I have one. My mind is constantly dreaming up new recipes.
Today, I tried a custard bun topped with my homemade strawberry jam. The bun is delightfully sweet and soft; the filling can be modified with the season (my favorite type of recipe).

Have you had a our Blackberry Pecan Salad? Local Baby Greens tossed with a Berry Vanilla Vinaigrette and topped with Toasted Pecans, Blackberries, Gruyere (the OG Swiss Cheese), and Sumac Onions. You can top with Pan Seared Chicken Breast or Seared Ahi Tuna.

Steak and Egg Quesadilla - orange serrano marinated steak (mild), tajin, avocado mash, crema, salsa brava, chili-brown sugar sweet potatoes

Grilled Mahi Mahi - peach salsa, yellow pepper rice, and fresh fruit
