As a dad of two young kids, one of the biggest questions I have before a gravel race is whether to bring the family.
I'm usually out on course for 4-6 hours, and it's not always easy to know if there will be enough for them to do while I'm gone.
That's what makes Straight Up Gravel different - there's a ton to do within walking distance of the venue:
*Harrison Park - great playground + splash pad
*City pool - perfect way to spend a hot day
*Creekside Community Center - indoor pool, kiddie area, kids playroom, and basketball courts
*Tennis & pickleball courts
All of this is basically within eyesight of the venue parking lot.

If you've ever been on the fence about bringing the family to a race, this is an easy one.
