11/19: Grand Opening of Henry's Souvenirs and Gifts - Downtown Harlan is welcoming a new business on Main Street with the addition of Henryโs. Youโll find gifts and souvenirs to remember your time in your favorite mountain town! The shop will be open on Tuesday the 19th from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. so stop by to shop! Youโll find them on Main Street beside Sassy Sassy TRASH LLC.
11/19: Tree Lighting at the Square- Cumberland Tourism invites you to listen to Christmas music, enjoy hot chocolate and popcorn, and visit with some of your favorite Christmas characters as you light up the Square in Cumberland for Christmas! The fun goes from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
11/21: Village Center Mall Tree Lighting- The community is welcome at the Village Center Mall at 6 p.m. to enjoy Christmas music by local choirs, the lighting of the tree, and a visit from Santa Claus!
11/21: Snowman Door Hanger Painting Class- Do you like your art with a side of garlic knots? The Portal has it all! Join them for a guided painting class from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. resulting in an adorable snowman door hanger. You can sign up at The Portal or by using the QR code on the graphic. The cost is $35.
11/22: Food Truck Friday- Donโt miss the final Food Truck Friday of the year! The Deli Shop will be serving beginning around 11 a.m. Check out one of Harlan Countyโs newest food trucks!
11/22-11/24: Wonderland Mini Golf- The mountains of Kingdom Come State Park are shining bright with the lights of Wonderland Mini Golf! Enjoy golf while enjoying the Christmas season! Golf on Friday & Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. The cost is $3.50 per person!
11/23: Roadtripp at The Portal- Are you looking for live music, great food, and cold drinks? Make your way to the AfterHours Lounge at The Portal and enjoy one of Harlanโs favorite local bands!
11/23: Pass It On Pine Mountain Blacksmithing- This is one of Pine Mountain Settlement Schoolโs most popular workshops! Fred Loving will be hosting blacksmithing on November 23rd. This is an all day event and participants need to bring their own lunch. The class is limited to 5 participants so be sure to register now at www.pinemountainsettlementschool.com
