Hi everybody!

It's been a long time with no activity so I just wanted to post an update. Due to a lot of life changes, including moving several times, GLL has been effectively closed for business. I still own the company and would very much like to open back up someday, but circumstances at the moment make that all but impossible. I simply don't have the time or space to devote to leathercraft at this time. I sincerely hope that will change soon, but in the meantime I am keeping the dream alive!

Thank you to all my customers, friends, and followers for your support this far and I hope to be back at it in the future!

And finally, here's the finished product. At some point this turned into a labor of love, and I put a lot more work into it than I initially planned. There was just something about watching this case come back to life, and I'm incredibly pleased with the result. I'm also proud that I got to be a small part of something so meaningful to a family.

Here's some in progress photos of the camera case! At this stage, I've done some basic touch-up and conditioning of the leather to prep it for gluing, stitching, and finishing. Once the lens cover is reattached to the case body, it'll be nearly finished.

Here's an interesting one: A vintage Petri camera case brought in for some TLC. This case and the accompanying original camera (a PETRI 2.8 "EP" Color Corrected Super) were apparently brought home during the Korean War. In remarkably great shape for its age! This is being repaired and cleaned up, along with the camera, as a family heirloom.

Hi everybody! First off I want to apologize for the lack of posts and content lately. I've had a whole lot on my plate the last couple of months - some good, some bad, some personal and some not. It's made it challenging to keep up with social media. The last two months have been my busiest ever in terms of customer projects! In addition, some changes are coming soon.

Some highlights:

-A completely new and revamped website coming soon
-Some new tools in the shop will increase productivity
-I will be resuming sales of leather supplies in the near future

I'm also looking for brand partnerships and collaboration opportunities, so if you or anyone you know might be open to the idea, hit me up!
