In celebration of Massachusetts’ 250th anniversary, the Mass Dept of Agricultural Resources (MDAR) has been collecting pics that celebrate the Farm to School initiative – and this Cushing MarketPlace snapshot was chosen to be included!

Farm to School programs strengthen the local economy, improve health and education outcomes, and build connections between the Cafeteria, Classroom, and Community - the “Three C’s” of Farm to School, which will be highlighted during a future event kick-off.

Congratulations to Eleanor, Sue and the entire Greenhouse and Garden Shop crew, who keep these programs fun and engaging for our participants.

Hooray! It is finally time to get our gardens planted!
Vegetables, herbs, and flowers grown from seeds by Cushing students are now on sale at the Cushing Marketplace Garden Shop, 120 Columbia Road Hanover.

We will be open 10am to 2 pm today and tomorrow, and next Friday & Saturday, May 22nd
& 23rd.
