From the moment he asked, everything about out wedding felt like fate with rhinestones on it. Very on-brand. 😂✨

We chose 7/7 @ 7pm because listen… when you’re a girl who believes in signs, timing, and a little Vegas magic, triple sevens just make sense.

And the venue?
Oh, I didn’t choose it because it was cute — I chose it because Bon Jovi got married there AND because my inner Elvis-loving soul said,
“Yep. That’s the one.”
Rock nostalgia + Vegas history + a whole lot of glittery energy?
Say. Less. 🎤💗

Then came the dress.
Not the gown I expected…
but the one that felt like it was made for me.
Comfort, sparkle, confidence — and zero chance of me passing out in the desert heat. Winning. 🙌✨

And because God has a sense of humor, we flew in on flight 0777.
At that point, there was no denying it — this wedding wasn’t planned… it was aligned.

Our ceremony may have been the “perfect 7-minute wedding,”
but the love behind it?
That’s forever.
Simple. Sacred. Unforgettable.

Between the alerts from WALB and Alexa along with texts from Natalie Wells and calls from Linda Parker as well as my view from the windows… I’d say I’m covered with storm coverage 😫

Me and the babies are definitely antsy but are fine. I’m thankful we still have power and especially that Rhett can flush the potty every time he goes (that’s real important in case you didn’t know)🤪 I’m thankful for the 987654321 episodes of Jurassic and have learned more about Triceratops from 3.5 year old Rhett than I ever learned in school 😆

We have lost and found the paci more times than I can count and Canaan giggles every time I get on the floor looking for it so the sciatica and kink in my neck from sleeping with the acrobats was worth it if my awkward crawl makes him laugh🤪

All in all we are GREAT and are praying for everyone in the storms path!! Stay safe 🙏🏼💕

It's almost 2024, I'm 46 years old and worn out, and I still have so many unanswered questions!!!! I haven’t found out who let the dogs out...where’s the beef...how to get to Sesame Street... why Dora doesn’t just use Google Maps...Why do all flavors of fruit loops taste exactly the same, or how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop......why eggs are packaged in a flimsy carton, but batteries are secured in plastic that’s tough as nails...what does the fox say... why “abbreviated” is such a long word; or why is there a D in ‘fridge’ but not in refrigerator... why lemon juice is made with artificial flavor yet dish-washing liquid is made with real lemons... why they sterilize the needle for lethal injections... and, why do you have to “put your two cents in” but it’s only a “penny for your thoughts” where’s that extra penny going to... why does The Alphabet Song and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star have the same tune... why did you just try to sing those two previous songs... and just what exactly is Victoria’s secret? and where is Waldo?... Can you hear me now?...and do you really think I am this witty?? ... I actually got this from a friend, who stole it from her brother’s girlfriend’s, uncle’s cousin’s who lived next door to an old class mate’s mailman...Now it is your turn to take it from me... Copy and Paste, change the age, and enjoy your day.
