Help Wanted: Hobby Enthusiast & Retail Associate
Gamers Guild SC is looking for a passionate, reliable, and knowledgeable part-time team member to join our community! If you live and breathe tabletop gaming and love sharing that passion with others, we want to hear from you.
The Role
As a Retail Associate at Gamers Guild SC, you aren't just ringing up customers—you are the face of the shop. Your goal is to maintain a welcoming environment for hobbyists of all stripes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Product Expertise: Provide insight and recommendations across our entire catalog, including Trading Card Games (TCG), Warhammer/Miniatures, and Board Games.
• Customer Engagement: Help players find exactly what they need and answer technical questions about gameplay or hobby supplies.
• Shop Upkeep: Perform light cleaning and organization to keep the Guild looking its best.
• Special Projects: Assist with inventory management, event setup, or other small shop projects as needed.
Requirements
• Availability for at least one additional weekday (to be discussed during the interview).
• Deep knowledge of tabletop gaming products (Magic: The Gathering, Warhammer 40k, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills and a "community-first" attitude.
• Ability to work independently and stay productive during downtime.
