When you get the call to consult at one of Virginia’s oldest continuously Black-owned farms… YOU GO! 🚜💨
With Virginia preparing for recreational cannabis retail sales to officially begin July 1, 2027, we had the opportunity to visit H**p Twinz, Virginia Cannabis Association members and Co-Founders of Yoagie Enterprises, at their 4th-generation Black-owned family farm right here in Virginia. ✊🏾
Their family’s agricultural legacy dates all the way back to 1889 — generations of cultivating land, building community, and creating opportunities. Now, they’re preparing to take that legacy into the next chapter of Virginia’s cannabis culture. 🌿🔥
We were honored to be on the farm, share our expertise, and talk strategy around what’s ahead. This is what makes this industry special… Small business supporting small business. 🤝🏾
Cannabis didn’t get here because of corporations. It got here because of people:
Farmers.
Entrepreneurs.
Advocates.
Cultivators.
Legacy operators.
Community leaders.
People who kept building when nobody was watching. People who believed in the plant. People who didn’t wait for permission.
That spirit is the backbone of this industry — and we’re proud to be part of an ecosystem that continues to uplift, connect, educate, and build together. 💪🏽
