It’s going to be a beautiful, sunny Friday, so come spend the afternoon with us at the Hampden Farmers Market!

We’re open TODAY from 2:00–5:30 PM at St. Matthew’s Church parking lot, directly across from Hannaford.

Come grab some fresh local produce, meats, baked goods, coffee, flowers, lunch, handmade goods and plenty more from your favorite local vendors.

We’re also excited to welcome Sea Shanty as our guest vendor today!

This weeks vendor spotlight is:
Farm House Coffee Roasters!
Andrew has been a vital part of our market for over 10 years now! While his business currently attends 4 markets, Hampden is one of the first markets he attended.
His father has always helped Andrew with the business, and now his son (who is taller than Andrew now) and daughter help out too.
Of course, Andrew has always supported his kids by going to all their games and even coaching games.
That's why Stewart covers the Hampden market while Andrew has been coaching!

And the coffee beans....need I say more? So many flavors. They smell amazing, and brewing the beans is just unbelievable. Rich, bold flavor. Whether you like your coffee strong or mild, he has the flavor just for you.
And don't forget the cold brew! On a hot day, it hits the spot!!
So stop in and stock up with coffee beans, ground coffee, canned nitro cold brew, or just a cup to go. Stewart will set you up Friday!

Our second Vendor spotlight is:
Emily's Wild Maine Blueberries

Emily has been selling blueberries for 18 years on and off but working in the blueberries fields since she was a toddler.
She is the 5th generation of her family to harvest blueberries.
She is also Mofga certified! Emily says raking blueberries is very peaceful and likes to work alone, hand raking. ❤️
Blueberries are definitely a short season fruit. And very weather dependant. Weather can go from torrential rains to drought in no time! Or get a late frost in the spring just when the blossoms open, which can adversely affect the harvest. She said that is what happened to some blueberry farms this year. But fortunately she was not affected. If you need blueberries, stop in and get them before they are gone!
They are soooo good!

We will be doing 2 Vendor spotlights this week!
The first is:
Ash Hill View Deer Farm

Was established in 1992 by Kenneth and Nathan Swett. Nathan was only 12 back then. A lot has happened since then. They have grown the herd from 13 red deer to 100 sustained animals to date. And have been providing quality USDA certified meat to locals, restaurants, and natural food stores.
They even have antler treats for your pets!
Not to mention tapping maple syrup for the last 6 years and providing cinnamon infused maple syrup at our market.
If you love deer meat but don't hunt anymore, here is your chance to get quality meat!
Unfortunately, due to the demand and herd management, Ash Hill Deer Farm may only be here this week for a time. They need to manage their herd so as not to over harvest before they are ready.
That should tell you what good stewards they are! Always thinking about their animals first! Thank you, Ken and Nate!
