✨📖 Juniper Bakery Phrase Story Time 📖 ✨

When I was dreaming up the new direction for Juniper Bakery, I knew I wanted the brand to feel like more than just a bakery. I wanted it to feel warm, nostalgic, happy, and a little bit different. I wanted to keep that 70s, flower-child, groovy feeling—but I also wanted the heart of the business to stay rooted in something simple: Kindness.

So came the three things that I hope Juniper represents:

🌼 Be Kind.
Because you never know what someone is carrying. A kind word, a little encouragement, or simply making someone feel seen can mean more than we realize. I want Juniper to always be a place that spreads a little more kindness wherever we go.

🌼 Stay Groovy.
This is the fun part. 😉 I’ve always loved that old-school, carefree, flower-child energy. “Stay groovy” is a little reminder not to take life too seriously. Slow down. Enjoy the little things. Dance in the kitchen. Listen to good music. Buy the cute cake. 🌸✨

🍰 Eat Sweets.
Well… because life is sweeter with dessert. 😂 And honestly, I believe there’s something special about gathering around food. Celebrating birthdays, holidays, milestones, or just making an ordinary Tuesday feel a little more special.

And together, “Be Kind. Stay Groovy. Eat Sweets.” feels like the perfect little snapshot of what I want Juniper Bakery to be.

A place where you can reach out for all your sweets needs, stay for the good vibes, and hopefully leave with a little more joy than you came in with. 🤎

Hey besties!

I want to start out by saying this wasn’t an easy decision. We have loved all the great support we have gotten from customers in Denham Springs for the past almost year!

After giving it much thought, we have decided we will no longer be offering our Cinnamon Buns at The Whistle Stop! This is only due to sales continuing to lower more and more over the past several weeks. We don’t look at this as a negative thing and are more so thankful for the support that has been shown!!

We absolutely loved working with The Whistle Stop and still do! This isn’t a “never see ya again”! We still have great relationships with everyone there, so you never know what special events may be happening and our Cinnamon Buns show up!

Seriously, thank you all so much for allowing the space for more creativity! I can never thank you enough!

Three years ago today, I took a leap of faith and started this little home bakery with a dream, a whole lot of butter and flour, and trust that God would make a way.

Today, Juniper Bakery is celebrating 3 amazing years, and my heart is overflowing with gratitude. 💛

To every single person who has ordered cinnamon buns, cookies, cakes, brownies/blondies, shared a post, recommended us to a friend, stopped by one of our pop-ups, grabbed goodies at The Whistle Stop, or simply prayed for this little business… thank you. You have helped turn a dream into something so much bigger than I ever imagined.

There have been early mornings, late nights, mistakes, victories, and so many lessons along the way. Through it all, God has remained faithful, and I truly believe every blessing this bakery has received is because of His goodness and His perfect timing.

Running a small business isn’t always easy, but getting to serve this wonderful community with homemade treats has been one of the greatest joys of my life.

Here’s to three years of fresh homemade sweets, sweet memories, and the incredible people who’ve supported Juniper Bakery from the very beginning. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for the years ahead.

From the bottom of my heart… thank you for believing in this little home bakery. We love y’all more than you’ll ever know! 🤎✨
