Hey! Many of you may not be seeing my face so much at the shop soon, but that's a good thing! It means that after 4 years of building this business, it is at a point where I don't have to be.
As many of you know, I also have a full time job and am starting a family. Combined with the fact the shop has not been as personally profitable as I'd hoped (taxes, overhead, license fees, etc) reinforced my decision to cut my time here. The fact of the matter is it is hard to work 40+ hours a week for little/no compensation in addition to my 40hr job. I am going to cut my hours down and focus on other areas of life.
I will still be here a few nights a week, and I am blessed to have found employees that I can trust to do the job in my absence. Ryan (and most recently, Doug) have done a fantastic job of holding down the fort for me and they would do anything I would do to serve our customers the best we can.
THE MOST important thing anyone can do for me is continue to be a patron of the shop even when I am not there. It allows me the freedom to spend much needed time at home. Also, TELL YOUR FRIENDS!! I have very low foot traffic for my location so most business is word of mouth.
As always, I appreciate each and every one of you for allowing me to provide jobs, chase a dream, and learn some lessons. 2023 is gonna be great and I am ready for it
