Vendors and Community Members,

It is disheartening to hear about the abrupt closure of the Painted Tree locations. We understand that closing over 60 locations with less than ten days' notice for 1000s of vendors, this deeply affects the livelihoods and financial security of thousands of artists, vendors, and employees. We are truly sorry for everyone impacted by this situation.

Having operated our local stores for over two years, we understand the challenges of the retail industry. Thanks to the support of our community in Washington County and our recent expansion into Frederick County, we remain committed to making local shopping convenient and sustainable.

We want to support all vendors (existing, former, potential), especially those affected by the closures at the Painted Tree Dulles Landing Sterling VA locations. If you or someone you know was a vendor there, please share your business, Etsy shop, or social media handles below so our community can support you.

For vendors coming from Painted Tree who are interested in booth space, we have limited openings and are willing to work with you.

We had our grand opening of our FSK location yesterday and want to say thank you for the support.

We have drawn the winners of the giveaways and the winning ticket numbers are below:

If your ticket was drawn please hold onto it and return it to us when you pick up your prize, we will give the winner 1 week to say if they would like their prize and will come pick up, if I do not hear from the winner by next Sunday we will draw another winner for that item. If you won an item and you do not wish to collect, we will draw another ticket.

We have been working hard alongside our vendors to prepare for our newest location, and we are excited to announce our official opening date.

The grand opening of our Francis Scott Key Mall location will be this Saturday, April 11th, at 11:00 AM. Following the opening, we will be open to the public seven days a week, subject to holidays, emergencies or inclement weather.

To celebrate, we will be hosting a giveaway. To enter, simply visit our new location on Saturday to receive a raffle ticket. You can also earn extra entrie(s) with any purchase $5 or more. We will draw the winners Saturday evening after closing and post the results on our page.

We will also have sweets and refreshments available for you to enjoy while you browse. We look forward to seeing you there!

We have some exciting news to share! Truly Local is opening a new location in Frederick, Maryland, this April. You can find us inside the FSK Mall in the former Payless space, located near Macy’s and MyEyeDr.

Our new store will feature over 30 of your favorite vendors, along with several new additions. Please keep an eye out for more information regarding our grand opening date coming soon.

Join us in-store throughout February! Spend $50 or more and you will receive a mystery prize envelope. Prizes include cash, gift cards, gift certificates, in-store prizes, discounts, and more.

The process is simple: come in and do your shopping. If your total is over $50, a team member will give you an envelope. The only catch is that you must not open it until you return to visit us for our one-year anniversary at the Valley Mall location on Saturday, March 14th.

Please note that envelopes are limited and available only while supplies last. Even if you don't have an envelope, you can still join us on March 14th for our other anniversary festivities, though it’s always more fun to win a prize!
