DUELING BOOK SALES AT GREY MATTER
For the first time ever—or maybe the second, my memory is for the birds—we will be having twin book sales at both shops. To maximize confusion (always a priority), the twins are not identical. The Hadley sale will be the traditional 4-day, 30% off affair. The New Haven shop, as befits its diminutive status, will run 3 days (Friday-Sunday) and will offer a 25% across-the-board discount. I hope that sounds as senseless to you as it does to me.
Both locations have a ton of fresh material, notably a steady influx from the library of Samuel R. Delany (no sci-fi, alas, but plenty of lit, philosophy and theory). Also art books from two collections, weird old mysteries, more cartography and a bunch of Greek and Roman classics.
I hope you at both sales simultaneously.
Hadley sale: Thursday, April 9th-Sunday, April 12th

To further complicate matters, we are also hosting a reading/performance, in our New Haven store, by downtown music legend Elliott Sharp Friday evening, during which no books will be sold at any price
