🌿 Hearth & Market is taking a little vacation! 🌿

I’m taking a little break for some much-needed lake time, to slow down, recharge, and spend some time with friends and family. ❤️

Orders will continue to ship through tomorrow, and I’ll be checking my DMs periodically while I’m away. I’ll be back in one short week and returning to the Port Austin Farmers Market and other local markets!

I don’t usually share personal fundraisers here, but every now and then someone comes along who’s impossible not to cheer for.

My sweet niece has always been a go-getter. I still remember her visiting me as a junior high schooler and telling me her whole life plan. I remember smiling and thinking, this girl is going to do amazing things!!

She’s one of the most dedicated and thoughtful people I know. A while back, she even put together an entire homeschool curriculum for my younger son just because she wanted to help. That’s just who she is.

She recently started cheerleading, and I’m excited to see her continue to grow, challenge herself, and work toward her dreams. Living nearly 3,000 miles away, I wish I could be there to cheer her on in person, but supporting her fundraiser is one way I can remind her that I’m always in her corner.

If you’d like to help encourage an incredible young woman, I’ll post her fundraiser below. If donating isn’t possible, a share or a few words of encouragement mean just as much.

Michigan small businesses really can’t catch a break lately 💔

Canceled markets from unhealthy air quality, vendors having to give up booth space when conditions aren’t safe, and now storms damaging booths, displays, and products. It’s been a rough stretch for our market community.

Behind every booth is a small business that has already invested time, money, supplies, booth fees, and a whole lot of work just to show up.

So let’s show each other some love. 🌿

Due to the unhealthy air quality from the wildfire smoke, Hearth & Market will not be at the Port Austin Farmers Market this Saturday.

As much as I was looking forward to seeing everyone, your health (and mine!) comes first. I also don’t think it’s the best experience to be testing and smelling botanical perfumes when the air quality is poor.

Thank you so much for understanding. I hope everyone stays safe, keeps the windows closed if you can, and takes care of yourselves until we have fresh, clean air again.

I’ll be back as soon as conditions improve, and I can’t wait to see you all at the market! 💚

Thank you to everyone who stopped by Hearth & Market today. It was such a joy seeing familiar faces, welcoming new ones, and even meeting visitors from out of state! Whether you purchased something, grabbed one of my business cards, stopped to chat, or simply enjoyed a cup of reverse osmosis water from my new Hydration Station, I’m so grateful you stopped by.

And a huge thank you to everyone who loved my Inspired blend so much that you completely sold me out! 🧡 I can’t wait to make another batch for next Saturday!
