I read through Governor Sherill's Data Center guardrail proposal. It's outrageously weak. There is no limitation for water or energy use -while you and me are increasingly constrained in both. There is no limitation on where the centers can be built, keep in mind, they are almost always built in traditional open space farmland areas and close to high water tables such as the Pinelands. This proposal is a big indicator to me how this politician is actually corporate over people. She's full of it.

There is nothing in this proposal that deters developers from building anywhere really, and nothing in this proposal that deters data distributors from consuming local resources to heart's content. It's also notable that while the proposal asks data centers to pay for their own power use, it does not require them to pay for the power lines and extensive infrastructure for power transmission. And this is what has been so costly to you and me so far, as charges to consumers. These costs are applied to our bills when as centers are built -*even*- if they are not occupied.

No thanks Sherill- the data in your center is bu****it.

The rains finally came. We will be strategically delaying lawn care this week in order to finish mulch contracts and planting work and this will allow some of the dormant lawns to regenerate and recover from the hot and dry conditions.

In the name of our customers, we made a donation to Street Child World Cup,

…an organization that helps disadvantaged youth around the world through soccer, sportsmanship, teamwork, and opportunity.

To us, that feels far more meaningful than the World Cup grift on King’s Highway.

The real spirit of the United States: generosity, leadership, and helping people within and beyond our borders, thoughtfully and with meaning without losing pride in who we are at home. That feels like a far better way to celebrate America’s 250th birthday.

We urge you to check out the organization and represent American values too.

One day left of this hell-heat.

I’m not wishing rain over your holiday weekend — but Haddonfield’s lawns and gardens certainly wouldn’t mind a good soaking if we happen to get some.

-AI computing centers often receive enormous tax breaks and public incentives to build in areas with abundant fresh water. Local homeowners are being asked to conserve, limit watering and accept usage restrictions even under penalty of law. Makes sense.

The Haddonfield Tulip Company offers hard work, reliability, and results.

We do not spend money on Camden County pay to play political contributions, cringy ad campaigns, or local insider Haddonfield cronyism based networks. We spend our time *working* …often seven days a week and ten hours a day — to deliver professional, on-time horticultural and landcare work to our customers. There’s a certain freedom and power in our approach to business transcends bu****it and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

What we offer is simple:quality work, honest effort, and extra extraordinary results.
Happy Birthday America …for the 250th anniversary .
We are an American success story .

Sunday is planting day for us. We work every single day until the spring rush is over, but due to the Northeast drought conditions this year, we’ll be planting far fewer annuals than normal.

If a client doesn’t have irrigation, we probably won’t be planting annuals at all. Instead, we’re leaning toward tougher bulb-type plants like Caladium that can better handle the heat and dry conditions.

We’ve also been experimenting with direct seed sowing using plants like zinnias and dwarf sunflowers for a high-impact, irrigation-free garden approach. Sometimes the old-school methods still work best.
