Fun week in the shop. Had a few new students start up. It’s awesome teaching the youngsters how to read and play. Love teaching advanced metal-heads, rockers, and everything in between, cranking out some Pantera, SOAD, Metallica etc. Totally maxed out for lessons at this point. Contact me to get on the waiting list for openings. Being a professional musician performing live for over 40 years, my main goal is to inspire kids and adults to enjoy playing the guitar as much as I do. There is nothing more refreshing than teaching someone to play a song they love, and see the look on their face, and giving the opportunity to play it live in front of their family. This was a fun minor restoration. This Fender guitar was sitting in a guys garage for 20 years. Parts were corroded, and no signal, nothing worked. Cleaned and lubricated the pots and rewired it. Dimarzio Tone Zone humbucker is the winner for me for the bridge. I have the Dimarzio TZ in the bridge and the Eric Johnson in the neck on a few of my guitars. I also love the Seymour Duncan custom shop El Diablo for the bridge. Recently installed the Seymour Duncan High Voltage pair in an SG, killer tone.
