For the people throwing around “AI slop” comments:
My first book released in 2010.
Long before AI art tools.
Long before AI music tools.
Long before any of this existed.
I’ve spent over 15 years building books, worlds, characters, events, audio projects, bands, merch, and an entire horror-broadcast universe from the ground up.
AI is part of my production pipeline now — the same way musicians use DAWs, filmmakers use editing software, and artists use digital tools.
But the stories, writing, direction, branding, editing, worldbuilding, and vision are still mine.
You don’t have to like what I create.
That’s completely fair.
But I think people sometimes forget there are actual human beings behind these projects.
Authors.
Artists.
Musicians.
Small business owners.
Independent creators trying to survive.
A reckless comment written in five seconds can affect reputations, opportunities, bookings, sales, and real livelihoods.
Nothing I create is intended to harm anyone.
I’m simply creating strange things for strange people who enjoy them.
So before publicly reducing years of someone’s work to “slop,” maybe ask yourself:
What exactly is gained by trying to diminish another human being who is out here creating, working, and trying to build something?
