Sometimes the best opportunities are hiding just outside your comfort zone.
This weekend, I traveled an hour and a half to downtown Tampa for a corporate cocktail party at a beautiful architecture firm. If you know me, you know this was WAY outside my comfort zone. Downtown traffic, one way streets, crowds of people everywhere, and an elevator involved? Let's just say none of those things are on my list of favorites. đ
To make it even more interesting, my husband wasn't able to help, so for the first time ever, I hired a friend to assist me with setup. That was a big step for me and a reminder that growth often means trying things you've never done before.
The client wanted a 20 foot hallway lined with giant flowers, creating a dramatic entrance for their guests. Seeing the finished installation come together made every nervous moment worth it.
This event pushed me in all the right ways, and I'm so grateful I said yes.
