At the close of my work week I find myself struggling to express to my clients how a “no show” appointment affects not only my business but myself personally. We had 11 just this week.
We all know that “life happens” and sometimes you just cannot keep an appointment, however almost all of you can reach me through my personal phone, messenger, text or anyone can leave a message on the answering machine at the shop.
Just gimme a heads up that you can't make it. 😁
We try to work with everyone’s schedule to accommodate work, school, kids activities etc. and I believe we do a great job providing this service.
That being said we also have a schedule and that schedule is how we are able to provide these services to our clients. When a client just doesn’t “show” the time that we have set aside for you is forfeited and there is no revenue generated for myself or for the shop.
We know that all sorts of things happen and of course there are accidents and such things like appointments slip your mind, of course we understand these situations!
