Shelter dogs aren't looking for perfect people—they're simply hoping for someone who will choose them and never give up on them again. In return, they offer a kind of gratitude and loyalty that's impossible to put into words. Sometimes the dog you rescue ends up rescuing you right back. Healing has a beautiful way of finding those who need it most.
