After lots of thought, prayer, and being stuck in survival mode, we have decided to close Posie.
This decision did not come lightly. In fact, this is truly the hardest decision either of us have had to make.
Posie & Co. has been our baby for 5 years.
We’ve loved spending time together and getting to work with each other everyday.
We’ve loved creating beautiful, quality flower arrangements and spreading joy to those around us.
We’ve loved creating a space in our small, but mighty town that has options for everyone.
But I think we’ve come to a point where we’ve reached burn out and there’s no more escaping it.
We’ve sacrificed so much valuable time with our kids, grandkids, and family as a whole.
We’ve stressed and worked ourselves to the point of exhaustion, all to get up and do it all again the next day.
We’ve had tons of sleepless nights filled with anxiety about how we’d make it through the month to pay our bills.
We carry the weight of doing what’s best for our families, while also not wanting to let anyone down. A weight that is heavier than we ever imagined.
And we know a lot of small businesses are feeling the same pressures, anxieties, and exhaustion that we feel.
It is HARD out there for small businesses, especially right now!
Please keep supporting small businesses in your communities.
Please keep buying if you can, sharing/engaging in posts, and just be kind to those owners.
Small businesses are a large piece of the backbone of your community. Without them, there is no town.
The LAST DAY for flowers will be Friday, August 14th and we will be posting and updating what the next weeks/months will look like for Posie soon!
