Lythamsnowdrops Welcome to my shop! They grow in winter and early spring. Custom orders are very welcome!

Lytham is the beautiful seaside village in western England where my ancestors had their manor house, Lytham Hall, and snowdrops are the beautiful and dainty flowers that grow in the woods and on the grounds of the house, now a museum. My part of the family fled to the safety of the New World in Virginia and Maryland in 1694, after my ancestor, James Clifton, was imprisoned in the Tower of London w

ith his brothers for being Catholic, because their distant relative, King William III, did not like the fact that they would not convert to the Church of England. Your special pieces will be handcrafted in my studio near the Greendale Historic District in Southeastern Wisconsin. Unfortunately I won't be using ArtFire.com for my shop either. I could not successfully upgrade my PayPal account to an Express Checkout one that I could link to ArtFire, after over an hour on the phone with PayPal. My shop on Etsy will be open until May 18th, after which I will be putting my Etsy shop on vacation mode until I can see if Etsy's new financial services will work. Some of my items will still be for sale at Belle et Vielle in Greendale, a beautiful little shop in Greendale's Historic District, owned by Faith and Katie, who are wonderful and have the greatest customer service. They have a page on Facebook, and also a website: www.beautifulandold.com. They are located at 5640 Parking Street, Greendale, Wisconsin, 53129.

Hi, Sorry it has been a while since I last posted. My shop is still open, but due to payment changes Etsy is implementing as of May 18, I will be changing to Artfire.com. Etsy is going to their own payment system, and I would have to charge my customers significantly more. Artfire allows me to keep my prices reasonable, while being able to keep PayPal as my payment system. And you can use your credit card to pay without having a PayPal account. My Etsy shop will still be open until then while I try Artfire, and set up my new shop. I have plenty of new items I will be posting soon :-)
