Disney's Lorcana: Wilds Unknown Prerelease is tomorrow at Storming Good Games!

This release is an exciting one because it’s the first to use prerelease boxes!

Each prerelease box includes:

• 6 packs
• A postcard
• A random promo card

Entry is $30, and the event starts tomorrow at 6 PM.

Never done a prerelease before? No problem! You’ll build a deck using the cards from your kit, then play with that deck during the event. It’s a fun, casual way to experience the new release, and we’ll have people there to help if it’s your first time.

Come hang out, crack some packs, and be part of the first Wilds Unknown prerelease at SGG!

Reminder: Pokémon Night is tonight at Storming Good Games! ⚡

We’re open today from 4–9 PM, with Pokémon Organized Play starting at 5:30 PM.

We’ll also have discounted Journey Together Build & Battle Kits available for anyone who wants to jump in, learn to play, or bring a friend who’s new to Pokémon.

It’s a great low-pressure way to open some packs, learn the game, and meet other local players.

We’ve got a couple of exciting updates at Storming Good Games!

Starting this week, we’re adding Thursday open hours from 4–9 PM, and Thursday nights will be focused on Pokémon Organized Play.

We’re kicking it off this Thursday, April 30 at 5:30 PM with a special Pokémon Night featuring Journey Together Build & Battle Kits for just $25. Each kit comes with a 40-card ready-to-play deck and 4 booster packs, making it a great way to jump in, play some games, and meet other Pokémon players.

We’re offering these below market to make them accessible for players, not scalpers, so kits will be opened in-store. They’ll be available first come, first served.

We’re also excited to share that Warhammer has arrived at SGG! We’re carrying Warhammer products and a small selection of paints, with plans to host Warhammer play in the future.

More details coming soon — but for now, come see us Thursday and help us launch something new!

Strixhaven Prerelease — Friday the 17th at 6 PM

Classes are in session at the Multiverse's most magical university, and we want you there! Join us Friday night to crack packs, build a deck on the fly, and battle it out.

Entry is $30. Please show up a few minutes early so we can get everyone registered and seated on time.

New to Magic or never been to a prerelease? This is honestly one of the best events to jump in on. Everyone's opening brand new cards and figuring things out together, so there's no pressure and plenty of help around. Tonight kicks off Season One of our Precon Commander League at Storming Good Games!

Bring your favorite unmodified retail Commander precon and jump into a 6-week league where every game matters. Whether you're here to chase the top spot, make big plays, or just sling spells with the community, this is the perfect way to play Commander on a level playing field.

League Details:

Starts tonight (but can sign up throughout this week)

Play 3 games a week to accumulate points. These can be spread out between Monday, Friday, and Saturday, or all played in one night.

4 players per pod

Any retail precon commander deck

$15 for the season

Season End Prizes:

1st Place: 18 Bloomburrow packs
2nd Place: 12 Bloomburrow packs
3rd Place: 6 Bloomburrow packs

We’ll also have scoring for things like wins, first blood, commander damage, and even Best Play of the Night.

This is all about fun games, smart upgrades, and a great community league atmosphere. After Week 3, players get a budget to upgrade their decks for the second half of the season — so the race is just getting started.
