What a wonderful weekend racing at WNRC Speedway for the King of Sling. We had 6 CRP midgets entered. We definitely had some ups and downs throughout the day. But overall I’m happy with what we leaned and how the cars reacted to the changes we made throughout the day.
I was definitely worried about the cold temps and how the cars would hold up as the temps went down. Aidens car was probably our best and most consistent running car all day. I tried different things throughout the day and found some thing that didn’t work and some things that did!! Lol
Aiden and I both made the A Aiden qualified directly in I bumped from the B. In the main we both ended with broken cars and the best part of that is neither car broke a 3D printed part. I had a rear shock end pull out and Aiden was the inner rear camber link bolt fell out.
So all in all I’m pretty happy with the performance and progress we’re making. I also appreciate the support from the racers for the interest in the car. I know it’s not our typical carbon fiber and machined aluminum that everyone is used to but it does well in the races we’ve run so far.
With that said we will continue to test and make some slight changes as necessary before we do a full release of the car.
Thanks to Adam Jarrell and team for the great facility and track to have a great time with fellow friends and competitors!
