On the painting table this week! I wish I had this mold, but at this time I do not - as of today!!! But I have 2 of these in bisque that I'm looking forward to doing!!!

Update! It is taking longer than we had hoped, but RCD Ceramics is working towards opening for ALL the wonderful ceramic needs!

Our new location is 13 minutes north of Lexington, Tennessee - 25 minutes from Jackson, and a few miles from Parkers Crossroads.

We will be posting the exact address and hours upon opening. (We may also offer shop times upon appointment as we determine the best schedule for our customers, our farm and ourselves in order to balance all the things in life!) Please feel free to message us or comment about any interest you may have!

RCD will offer greenware, bisque and painting/glazing options, as well as general work space, classes, and more. We are planning to add Raku, but that will be a bit farther down the road as we want to have the basic studio up and running well before we add that in.

We also will pour to order and ship bisque nationwide! We have so many hopes, dreams and plans for this studio! So, just saying, there is more to come!

We have exciting news to share!!!! We are moving to Tennessee as of this week (and over the next month as moving a farm and a ceramic studio is a logistical marathon!).

So, Rustic Country Dreams will reopen in the next few months as we get established in our new shop! I'm sorry we can't supply you during this time of transition, but are so excited to share our new grand opening! We will continue to provide paint your own bisque, molds as we thin down what we are using on a regular basis, and will be adding in classes on all things slip casting ceramics - from pouring, to cleaning, firing, glazing and non-fired painting techniques!

We also wanted to let you know that we have earned our Fashenhues certification and are loving that technique! (Thanks Sherry Porter !!! And Elly House )

Happy New Year from our studio to you! Light snow had me contentedly painting!

We had our first ever pop-up class for kids and it was amazing!!!! We brought a lot of bisque Christmas ornaments and let the kids get creative! I'm sealing all their work now and I just love their beautiful work! What a great experience. I think they enjoyed it as much as well did.

Now to design themed pop-up painting parties. I see dragons, adorable animals, mugs and so much more as offerings!

I have nativity bisque pieces, not a matched set, from several different makers, some pored and fired in the 1970s, given the newspapers that they were wrapped in. Some, as you can see have some discoloration from storage. Priced accordingly. Please see comments.

Alberta's cowgirl, 1974, unknown mold number. 12 inches tall. I do not have the mold, this is the only one I have. $17 plus shipping. We use PirateShip, so rates are pretty reasonable. We accept PayPal and Venmo for the security of our customers and product.

Ghost bisque, partially glazed (not glaze fired), tombstones, cat and jack 'o lanterns. Will be able to put lights in as it has cutouts. Unknown maker, I got it in a buyout. Offering vintage Smiley bisque! We got these as one of our buyouts and would like to offer them! According to the inscriptions on the undersides, it looks like they are from 1971. All are about 11 to 13 inches tall. Cheerleader, basketball player, golfer, fireman, cowboy, and girl with picnic basket and doll.
