There is nothing more that drives me crazy is w***y, crooked garlands. I want my decor to look professional so I take advantage of the hot weather. It takes time but that’s ok. Most couples expect to invest thousands of dollars 💸 in photography 📸 because those memories last a lifetime.

Most couples expect to invest thousands of dollars 💸 in entertainment music 🎶 because a great DJ/Band keeps the celebration flowing and guests engaged.

Yet wedding coordination 📓 is often one of the most misunderstood services in the wedding industry.

📸 A photographer captures the moments.

🎶 A DJ manages the music and atmosphere.

📓 A coordinator helps execute the couple's vision and keeps the day moving forward.

🛑 Couples choose their vendors.

🛑 Couples make the decisions.

My role is to step in and help bring those plans to life while serving as a resource for the couple, wedding party, family members, venue, and vendors.

What does that look like in real life?

🍩 The baker delivers boxes of donuts and ants are discovered inside.

🌿 Removing a place setting at the last minute and adding a seat for an unexpected guest.

👵 Both grandmas board the shuttle ahead of schedule without their corsages.

🪑 Receiving linens that arrive worn, wrinkled, or covered in lint and finding solutions before tables are set.

🚌 Redirecting transportation when the shuttle arrives at the wrong entrance.

🛗 The elevator breaks down and the band needs to be rerouted.

🤵 Tracking down a missing best man minutes before photos or the ceremony.

🌸 Cutting and preparing flowers for dozens of bud vases when DIY florals arrive unprepared.

🏺 Hurricane vase explodes due to candle heat and guests need new water glasses and salads.

💨 Adjusting setup plans when weather conditions make the original plan impossible.

🍰 Cake delivery is pushed back an hour because it’s too hot for the barn venue.

📦 Setting up, tearing down, and packing/securing décor, personal items, signage, favors, guest book tables, memorial displays, and all the little details that make the wedding uniquely theirs.

The goal isn't to take over the jobs of other vendors. The goal is to connect the moving pieces, solve unexpected problems, and allow the couple and their families to enjoy the day they've spent months planning.

The best compliment a coordinator can receive?

"I had no idea any of that happened."
