I will say I watched The Host first before reading the book so all I saw was the movie when reading (which I loved so no harm done there)
BUT I do like being able to create the images and ideas of what people look like in my head.

Sometimes I think it helps to stop disappointment if you are shown what they could look like but the it takes away the nuance of reading in general.

What are your thoughts? Do you try to read before seeing the movie?

Need something to do this Saturday, June 13th? Make sure to stop out at Serendipty by Sami between 10am -2pm to make some fun bookish goodies!

We will have pens, keychains/pursecharms, bookmarks, tumbler charms, and mini bookshelves. All for you to DIY and get creative with.

Kids are welcome! There are also many vendors in store for you to shop and check out as well 😁
