It's been a long time. I'm so sorry! I've had people reach out to me to make sure everything is OK... it is! I took a week break from most social media and from the Weeping Mermaid socials, and I blinked, and it was almost a year and a half later 🫠
Life has been crazy for me these past few years. I have mostly been living out of suitcases. It's been challenging and rewarding and, well, exhausting. And as a result I have some news to share.
Life has thrown a few things at me lately that have prompted a permanent out of state move.
Don't worry, though! The Weeping Mermaid will live on in two ways.
1. At the Shops on West Ridge my dear friends Ryan and Tom will carry on the Fusion paint line. Ryan and Tom have helped me tremendously in the last few years. I could not always be in Rochester so they kept TWM running smoothly. I will forever be grateful to them and could not imagine better people to carry this forward. Thank you all for continuing to support these phenomenal guys. As soon as I know when paint will move to their booth, I will be sure to let you know and share all info.
2. I will still be the Weeping Mermaid online, but my purpose and content will change. I'm not entirely sure what that will look like yet. I think this change will definitely give me more time to do my own projects. I am also expecting to have a pretty long-term remodel on my hands, too. I'm excited to get started and tired already thinking about it. Hopefully, I can share those things here.
I will share information about closing dates and sales late next week.
Being the Weeping Mermaid has been one of the greatest joys of my life. It is because of all of you who have supported my business in multiple ways that is has been possible for the last 9 years. Thank you ❤️
