Bedtime routines play such an important role in reducing late-night stress and anxiety. You know, the kind of worrisome thoughts that keep you up at night? We all have them. Our bodies are naturally built to respond to daylight and rest when it is dark. At night, our bodies will release melatonin, which is the hormone responsible for making you sleepy. A bedroom with bright lights can disturb this and your sleep.
Light exposure at night can hinder transitions between sleep cycles, reducing the quality of sleep. Too much light causes repeated awakenings and sleep cycle interruptions. Reducing time spent in a deeper, more recuperative sleep stage.

Hey ROYALsleep Fan!
The ideal temperature for sleeping is 18-20 degrees, but it is important that the feet are warm, otherwise it will be difficult to fall asleep. A warm blanket, a hot shower before bed, or a heating pad in bed will help. Also, do not forget to ventilate the bedroom at least 5 minutes before bed - fresh air has a beneficial effect on healthy sleep.
