HM Lettering Welcome to the creative outlet of an internal auditor. Calligraphy + Lettering + Design + Logo I offer custom projects in lettering and design.

My name is Hannah Marie and I have created HM Lettering out of a desire for a creative outlet in my free time. I am an Internal Auditor full-time, but my passion is still found in calligraphy and hand lettering. Although I am still considered a beginner, I am excited to continue in this aspect of my life. So I know I've been a bit MIA... but there's a reason. For those of you who aren't aware, I am a full time non-profit accountant. I have my bachelor's degree in accounting, but I never took that next step into becoming a CPA when I graduated in 2014. Because of the difficulty I had when searching for a job when we moved to MT (no one cared about my 3 years of governmental audit experience), and with the support of my supervisors here, I've decided to try for my CPA. The exam is 4 parts and, as you can see, takes a massive amount of time just to study for. The pass rate for the exams sits around 50%. This is not an easy nor a cheap option, and it's been years since I took a test, but I know it will open so many doors for me down the road. So while I am still doodling and writing, HM Lettering is sitting on the far back burner for me for a while. Thanks for following me, you're amazing. ❤

Whenever I hear our Pastor speak about the grace and truth of the Gospel, I am reminded over and over again that even though I struggle with the effects of the Fall, the effects of sin in my life, God's grace redeems me and makes me whole again. In His grace I know that it's okay to not be okay... but it's not okay to stay that way.

Whew! Had a great time at the Big One this weekend! For our first craft show, it was a great experience to get our feet wet. A big thanks to our volunteers and to our booth neighbors who made this weekend fun. Stay tuned for the opening of our online Etsy shop this week!

Sneak peek! If you haven't heard yet, HM Lettering will be set up at the Big One Art & Craft Fair here in Minot on April 7-8! We will have wooden signs, wood slice magnets, and watercolor cards for sale! All pieces are handmade! Super excited for my first craft fair!
